Get Fit For Free week is finally here!
Kick off your summer by enjoying a free week of fitness at our East and Midtown facilities! That’s right, I said FREE! We are opening our East and Midtown facilities to the public during Get Fit for Free! (GFFF!) Week, Monday, June 6, to Friday, June 10. This week will feature free access to all equipment, pools and group fitness classes. 
Here is a little bit about us.
YWCA is on a mission to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, help families, and strengthen communities. Through inclusion and empowerment, we address race and gender disparities in wellness, wealth, and education.
We support the nearly 400,000 women, children, and people of color in the Tulsa area through our four hallmark programs: racial justice and civil rights, empowerment and economic advancement of women and girls, health and safety of women and girls, and immigrant and refugee empowerment. “Get Fit is really about showing people who we are,” said Fatima Ramirez, Fitness Center Attendant. “It is wonderful to see new faces come through the doors during this week. We are all on this journey, this mission, together. We are here to cheer you on and help you find out what workouts are right for YOU.”
The coolest part about this week is that anyone can enjoy five days of unlimited access to the pool and exercise equipment at the East and Midtown locations. Participants can also attend one of the more than 100 innovative group fitness classes offered at YWCA every week—classes that are provided year-round at no additional cost to members.
GFFF! Week is a great time to try a variety of different classes to see what fits you best. We have many different classes ranging from the traditional favorites - water fitness classes, yoga, and cycling — to the inventive newcomers — dance therapy, barre, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT).
“Get Fit for Free! Week is a way for people to come find out what it is like to be a member of the YWCA community,” said Marcenia Cole, Membership Coordinator at the Patti Johnson Wilson Center at Midtown. “Our group fitness classes are a great way for people to see the power of the support you get when you are part of something bigger than yourself. You feed off the energy and the encouragements of your classmates. It motivates you to keep pushing yourself.”
Visitors looking for a quick power-packed class can opt for the Lunch Crunch. From noon to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, this class gets participants in and out, sending them back to face the day feeling strong and accomplished.
On Friday, June 10 at 6:00p.m., everyone is invited to a free Zumba party at the Aquatics and Fitness Center at East, or a Poolympic Games party at the Patti Johnson Wilson Center at Midtown to close-out and celebrate the week!

Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (not included in GFFF! Week)
