Research and Evaluation Analyst

Position Description: YWCA Tulsa is a seeking full-time Research and Evaluation Analyst to act as the primary researcher, data wrangler, evaluator, and innovation leader for the YWCA. 

  • The analyst is responsible for creating, maintaining, evaluating, and reporting on data for use in program development and evaluation and in demonstrating impact.
  • The analyst will gather and interpret data relevant to YWCA Tulsa and its programs and disseminate the findings, as well as research program models, identify opportunities for collaboration and growth, and improve program delivery through evidence-based findings.
  • This position will collaborate with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • In the first year, the analyst will be responsible for creating a State of the Mission report and for developing a needs assessment of YWCA Tulsa’s hallmark areas for use in future program development.

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate:

  • Is highly curious and inquisitive and has strong research, critical thinking, and writing skills; a sharp analysis of race, gender, and identity; and a demonstrated interest in social justice.
  • Is resourceful, knowledgeable about community assets, innovative, and responsive.
  • Uses critical thinking skills to make connections between data and anecdotal stories.
  • Possesses the confidence to promote the YWCA's programs and to present in front of people from a wide variety of backgrounds. 
  • Has the ability to work with diverse staff, client and volunteers.
  • Believes fiercely in the YWCA's mission.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social service or social science-related field (e.g. social work, sociology, women’s and gender studies, public policy) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in research, evaluation, and writing preferred.
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis and database management, highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a social service or non-profit setting, highly desirable.

Head Lifeguard/Coordinator

Position Description:  Assist with the day-to-day operations of the aquatics area and program, and ensure patron safety and protect lives.  This position is full-time with excellent benefits! We are willing to train the right candidate.

Grant Writer

Position Description: This position is responsible for researching, writing, submitting, and tracking grant proposals for YWCA Tulsa programs and operating needs; balancing multiple deadlines; crafting thoughtful grant reports and stewardship pieces; and meeting budgeted revenue goals.

Volunteer Coordinator

Position Description:  This position manages volunteer resources to assist in the delivery of YWCA Tulsa's programs, services, and events.  This includes directly managing volunteers, and providing guidance, support, resources and tools to to staff who utilize volunteers.  The position reports to the Director of HR and works with other members of the Leadership Team in the implementation of the volunteer program.  This is a new program; therefore, the responsibilities and duties detailed below will likely change and/or expand as the program develops.

Lifeguards (PT)

YWCA Tulsa is looking for dedicated, indoor, part-time lifeguards at its two locations! Flexible schedules with the potential to work 10 to 20+ hours a week--afternoon and evening shifts available. Gym membership included. Pay based on experience. American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required; WSI certification and bilingual in Spanish a plus.

The YWCA Tulsa needs you!  We are looking for part-time child care attendants for children whose parents who are participants in our fitness programs. Children range in age from 6 weeks through 8 years. Gym membership included. Schedules may vary including some evening and weekends.
