On Friday, May 26, YWCA's swim team, Tsunami, is having a swimathon to raise money for Los Pecesitos!

Drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury death among children 5-9 years; and the drowning rates amongst Hispanic communities are nearly three times higher than non-minority communities. Serving Spanish-speaking children ages 4-13, Los Pecesitos was created to address this high drowning rate among Latino children in the Tulsa community.

The swimathon gives you the opportunity to sponsor a swimmer by pledging to donate for each pool length the participants swim. Help YWCA's Tsunami swim team hit their goal of sponsoring 24 Los Pecesitos students for this summer! Sponsor a swimmer by pledging to donate here.
