Entrepreneur - Stephanie Jackson 

Stephanie Jackson is a distinguished entrepreneur and attorney, leveraging a remarkable career in law enforcement to found the Law Office of Stephanie R. Jackson, P.C., in 2018. Her transition from a decorated 20-year tenure with the Tulsa Police Department to building a successful law firm reflects her resilience, leadership, and commitment to serving her community. 

 

As the first Black and first Black female president of the Tulsa Bar Association, Stephanie continues to break barriers, inspiring others to pursue excellence. Her law practice emphasizes advocacy for women and children, a passion honed during her time as the Family Violence Investigative Unit Supervisor at TPD. 

 

Stephanie’s journey exemplifies perseverance. After losing her first husband to sickle cell anemia, she balanced raising her daughter, excelling in a male-dominated field, and achieving her lifelong goal of becoming an attorney. Encouraged by her second husband, Benny, she earned her J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in May 2018. 

 

An active community leader, Stephanie serves on the boards of the David E. and Cassie L. Temple Foundation and the University of Tulsa Alumni Board of Directors. She is a former board member of Holland Hall College Preparatory School, Domestic Violence Intervention Services, and the Sickle Cell Disease Association. Her achievements include national honors for bravery, mentorship of young women, and advocacy for underserved populations.
