Rising Star - Justice Jones

Justice Jones is a powerful emerging leader whose work sits at the intersection of housing, education, and community wellness. As Manager of Housing Programs with the Tulsa Higher Education Consortium, she leads initiatives that connect young adults experiencing homelessness with safe housing and comprehensive support. Justice not only helps her clients secure permanent housing but also empowers them to pursue higher education, increase income, and build long-term stability. Many of the individuals she serves are young mothers facing complex challenges. Through a compassionate and strategic approach, she has helped them enroll in college, access supportive services, and create stronger futures for their families.

Justice’s career has been shaped by a commitment to systems-level change. In her prior role as a Policy Analyst and Outreach Specialist with the Center for Housing Solutions, she analyzed homelessness and affordable housing issues, developed educational programming, and supported people transitioning from chronic homelessness to permanent housing. Her work with the Oklahoma Harm Reduction Alliance expanded outreach and improved access to essential resources for vulnerable populations. Across each role, she blends research, service, and leadership to drive meaningful progress.

Her volunteer contributions deepen her impact on Tulsa. She participates annually in the Point in Time Count, volunteers with cold-weather emergency shelters, and serves on the Oklahoma State Council for Harm Reduction where she assists with community clean-ups and syringe collection. She also serves as a creative writing pen pal to an incarcerated woman, offering connection and encouragement through storytelling. As a Cherokee woman, Justice uses her platform to amplify Indigenous voices and promote representation in civic and social service spaces.

Her leadership reflects empathy, advocacy, and a belief that change is built through consistent action. Justice’s work has helped young adults secure housing, access college opportunities, and overcome barriers that once felt insurmountable.
