Ready to make a splash? YWCA Tulsa is the place to be for beginner swimmers! We offer both Level 1 and 2 classes throughout the Summer and Fall. Plus, check out our free swim programs during the summer.
With trained YWCA swimming instructors, kids build confidence in the water and learn skills to prevent drowning with swimming lesson at YWCA Tulsa. Dive into classes that teach floating, exiting the pool safely, using a life jacket and many other techniques to have a ton of fun and stay safe.
Los Pececitos
Get ready to make a splash this summer! In partnership with the American Red Cross, YWCA Tulsa is thrilled to offer FREE Los Pececitos beginner swim lessons. Kids will build confidence in the water and learn skills to keep them safe. Participants must be 4-10 years old. Instructors are bilingual.
Lessons take place in June and July, with each child enjoying a 2-week session packed with eight 30-minute lessons. Classes are offered, Monday - Thursday in both morning and afternoon sessions.

When you fill out the registration form, you'll choose whether June or July works best, and we’ll take care of the rest by assigning your child a time slot. You’ll receive a phone call before lessons begin with your child’s schedule or letting you know they are on the waitlist.

Little Fish
Perfect for beginner swimmers, Little Fish lessons are FREE and offered at Lacy Park and Reed Park. Whether it’s your child’s first time in the pool or they’re just getting comfortable, we’re here to help every step (and splash) of the way! Participants must be 4-12 years old.
With the support of the American Red Cross, Little Fish lessons take place in June and July, with each child enjoying a 2-week session packed with eight- 20-minute lessons. Classes run between 10 AM–12 PM.
